The tension levelled Tata Kosh should be used for applications that do not require a sharp bend or even a sharp edge geometry such as buckets or grain silos.

This leads to the easy bending of sheets, proper bend geometry at the right curvature, no rework over bent or formed components, and no need for frequently adjusting forming parameters in the manual forming mode as well as working with machine tools. Other than this, Tata Steel also ensures the right strength in Tata Kosh by controlling chemical and mechanical properties in a close band through a state-of-the-art automated heat treatment process perfected over years of experience which leads to many benefits.

The sheets are produced in an automated production line in which a non-destructive and online radioactive coacting gauge measures coating thickness on both surfaces in a continuous manner. Tata Kosh GP sheets have a strong adhesion of Zinc to the steel substrate which prevents any Zinc peel-off because of anchoring of Zinc to the other steel surface. Tata Kosh is not merely protected by Zinc but is also coated with a layer of chromate. The products of Tata Kosh also used high purity special grade Zinc which is completely lead free.
